This conference is fully endorsed by INSNA (International Network for Social Network Analysis). We invite all participants to join INSNA and to participate in our signature Sunbelt Conferences (the next one is 26 June to 1 July, 2018 in Utrecht, NL).
We encourage submissions on any topic to which the theory, method or application of SNA is applied. The session topics include, but are not limited to, networks and organisations, health, networked innovation, social media, social enterprise, communities and networks, networks and teams, network governance, network visualisation and network methods.
Please submit your abstract of no more than 300 words by 15 August 2018 via the form at the bottom of this page. There are three types of presentation:
- Poster (evening of 27th Nov)
- Slides (plenary session, both days)
- Tool demonstration (during lunch break on both days)
The poster and slides are for presentations of applied or methods-related research, while the tool demonstration will allow creators or expert users of SNA tools to provide live demonstrations. Please complete all required details below and indicate your presentation preference (poster/slide/tool demonstration). The Program Committee will make the final allocation of presentations between the three formats. The ASNAC 2018 Program Committee for the conference will evaluate the submissions and the decision will be emailed by 31 August 2018.
We will be offering 5 travel scholarships for PhD students located outside of Canberra who are presenting at the conference. The scholarships will cover costs of travel and accommodation, up to a maximum of $500.
To apply for one of these PhD scholarships, please submit your abstract via the standard submission page but make sure you select the “Apply for PhD scholarship” option when submitting.
Standard: $150 (GST inclusive)
Full-time PhD students: $90 (GST inclusive)
